After being with Patrick Rea at Sandown Dental for many years I recently had three crowns and three front teeth built up. The professionalism and cleanliness, especially through the pandemic, has been notable and very much welcomed. My front bottom teeth look and feel really good and even and the colour match is incredible. The new crowns are fabulous and it's invaluable that Patrick checks and adjusts the bite after each new procedure to make sure it's perfect - especially for a tooth grinder like me. My Michigan splint, that has eliminated all of my headaches associated with clenching and grinding, was also checked to ensure a good fit. My family members are all registered at this practice and receive excellent care.

I recently started attending Sandown dental as I had been finding it difficult to book an appointment with my own dentist. I rang and everything was explained to me by the receptionist (who was so lovely!); Every appointment has been a joy, the team remain upbeat and professional even though they have to wear all the extra ppe. I have also been so impressed with the pricing, and have joined their practice plan; my husband and son have now also joined Sandown! Keep up the amazing work ladies (and Patrick!)

My dentist Sarah-Louise Rainey puts you at ease the minute you enter her room she reassures you and explains what she's found and what will have to be done about it and either she will do it there and then or will ask you to make another appointment to complete what has't to be done to finish the treatment Hx

I recently joined the practice as a new patient and have had quite a bit of work done by Janice to replace most of my old suspect looking silver fillings with white ones. She takes the time to actually shape the filling like the tooth whereas other dentists I've had in the past have not.
She has also been treating me for nighttime clenching and my new mouthguard is helping a lot with the dental and jaw pain I was experiencing.
Last week she seen me twice for emergency appointments as I was in extreme pain and hunted down the source of the problem, resulting in a root canal and the end of four days of intermittent extreme pain and sleepless nights.
Janice has also been looking after some of my aesthetic care excellently as well.
The practice itself is always clean and all the staff seem very friendly and professional. The equipment in place seems more modern than other NHS dental clinics I've been too.

Had A bit of bother with pain in my jaw seen sandown dental practice only to be told I needed a wisdom tooth taken out ooooch but no it was over in 45sec honest the staff at sandown are a credit to the surgery from the desk staff to the dentist themselves before this I just never liked dentists sandown you have me converted il be back

I waited 25mins to be told my appointment had be cancelled, despite confirming with reception after waiting 10mins that my appointment was still happening. Granted my number had updated so I didn't get any communication previously BUT having asked reception whilst waiting what was happening it took 25mins to give me an answer- very poor, even worse no apology was given because it was my fault for not updating their records. Handled so poorly, I am on an hourly wage and have lost an hours pay as a result of poor service. Having gone there for years I expected a lot more.

I have found the Sandown Dental and Implant Clinic to extremely patient focused with all efforts being made to accommodate the needs of the patient and the customer care is exemplary. The staff are all of the highest quality and even though I had a lot of work to be done, having not been to a dentist in 17 years, I found the experience to be as painless as was humanly possible, with the work itself being exceptional. As I mentioned, I had not visited a dentist in a number of years due to an unhappy experience before, but this is not something I need to worry about at the Sandown clinic, and I have happily joined the Practice Plan and now make regular visits.
